FAQ’s

  • All that’s needed is you and a pair of grippy socks. You can find them on Amazon under Pilates or yoga socks. Regular socks are too slippery to use on the equipment. Don’t stress too much though about having them for your first appointment, LeeAnn has a pair you can borrow if you forget or don’t have time to purchase.

  • Sessions can be made through the website by clicking on the “Book Now” button. You can also call/text LeeAnn at 205-305-6003 if you can’t find a time on the Acuity calendar that works with your schedule!

  • Sessions are 55 minutes long

  • Please give 24 hours notice for cancellations. LeeAnn understands that emergencies do occur but after 2 late cancels you will be charged a full session fee or will loose a session on your package.

  • There are some injuries we can work around to still give you a great workout. Let LeeAnn know what your injury is and she can advise whether or not it’s ok to proceed or if it’s better to wait.

  • Absolutely! As long as you have clearance from your Dr and you’re not on bed rest, Pilates is safe during your entire pregnancy and into the postpartum period!

  • LeeAnn is a Comprehensively trained Pilates Instructor and certified through PAI, (Pilates Academy International) based out of New York City, NY. She has certifications in Mat, Reformer, Chair, Cadillac and Ladder Barrel. She has also completed training in Suspension Pilates Method and Core Align and is a Pre/Post Natal Exercise Specialist and Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist.

  • Because Pilates is low impact and beneficial for a multitude of reasons, it can be done every day!
